Struan Cottage is situated centrally in the village of Balnaguard in Strathtay, and has been a part of our extended family for more years than we know.

Many generations of adults have made a living here and many children have come to enjoy and love the place.

Until recently the Robertson side of the family lived in the cottage, and indeed the village held a number of Robertsons.

On the sad death of Duncan Robertson (top left and right) in 2004 the cottage reverted to his nephew Dr James Macgregor, who along with his son Rory began a project to renovate the cottage due to complete late July 2006. It is hoped that when the renovation work is completed James will move in to this lovely home.
